Emotional Energy Increasers
Emotional energy is needed throughout the day. It is used to make decisions, react to other peoples behavior, deal with stress and is used to focus. That is why it is so important to have a full emotional tank at the start of each day. Otherwise you are more likely to have negative interactions with the people around you and negative thoughts about yourself.
Some examples that indicate you have low, emotional energy include:
Become short or snippy to others.
Yell when things do not go your way.
Withdraw from people or isolate to a room.
Use unhealthy coping mechanisms, like drinking, drugs, spending money, porn, gambling, etc.
Becomes hard to focus.
To refill your Emotional Energy, follow these 4 behaviors:
1.. Get Enough Sleep
You need 7 to 8 hours of sleep each night.
Go to bed and wake up around the same time every day.
2. Having Healthy Relationship Interactions
Connecting with friends and family, face-to-face when possible.
This is where you will receive the elements (support, encouragement, acceptance, etc.) of your Core Emotional Needs - To Be Loved.
3. The Foods You Eat
Watch what you eat, avoid junk food and process food and eat fruits and vegetables.
You also need to eat three meals a day.
for women eat at least 300 calories or more per meal.
for men eat at least 400 calories or more per meal.
4. Movement (exercise)
If you don't want to do traditional exercising, doing some type of movement for at least 30 minutes a day four days a week is acceptable.
If you are under stress or an anxious person, I also recommend doing number 5
